BioCube Fan Noise Problem?
I have the 14 gallon Bio Cube and the day after I bought it the left fan makes a sort of grinding noise. It’s getting a little annoying, but when I lift the hood with the fan on the noise goes away. Should I contact Oceanic?
You can contact Oceanic. They did have a recall on some models of cube and yours might be one of them. A customer just contacted them over a lighting malfunction and told me they had him clip the cords and sent him a new tank because his model had been recalled! Doesn’t hurt to find out.

Usually some baring grease can solve noisy fan issues, though. It might also be a loose fan, or some obstruction.
